North Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department, INC is administering a regional FEMA grant for five area fire departments for the purchase of approximately 34- P25 compliant All Band Mobile Radios, 109- P25 compliant All Band Portable Two-way radios and accessories, 8- P25 compliant Base Station Radios, 10- P25 compliant Mobile P25 repeaters, and 40- Voice Pagers. PLEASE NOTE: Any submitted proposals not based on the requested quantities shall be deemed non-compliant.
SITE VISIT: There will be a stations tour on Oct. 8, 2021 beginning at 9 a.m. at North Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department, INC. 4051 Rochester Rd. North Georgetown, OH 44665 and will include all department stations involved to assist with installation proposal.
All Sealed proposals shall be sent via U.S. Postal Service, Federal Express, or UPS to North Georgetown Fire Department, 4051 Rochester Rd, P.O. Box 22, North Georgetown, OH 44665 no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on October 22, 2021, and opened October 23, 2021, at 9:00am. No Sealed Proposals will be accepted by Walk-In or Hand to Hand Delivery.

Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked ''Regional Radio Grant" with Two (2) copies of proposal included. Proposals must be accompanied by complete descriptive matter and a completed and signed contract attachment, non-collusion affidavit. non-discrimination affidavit and no findings for recovery affidavit that are provided with the specifications. A summary page reflecting the cost per unit of both mobile and portable radios shall be submitted and shall be independent of the individual component pricing. Bids received after the scheduled bid reception date and time will neither be read nor considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. Each bid shall contain the full name of each person submitting the bid and must be accompanied by a contract bond in the amount of 100% of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check or money order on a solvent bank or savings and loan association, payable to the North Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department, INC in the amount of 5% of the bid. conditioned that the bidder, if the bidder's bid is accepted, shall execute a contract in conformity to the invitation and the bid. Bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders within thirty days of contract award. Bonds will be returned to the successful bidder within thirty days of either receipt of goods or completion of work, or both where applicable.
